about

This album was an experiment in live music recording. Our last recording was so mathematical, so much tracking and looping and we felt it didn't capture the vigorous energy of our live shows. So, we set out to do a live album. Almost everything on this album you hear is live, except a few overdubs. There are some obvious issues with live recording, little kinks, but all in all we think these recordings have an organic and raw feeling that we could never get out of a professional studio recording. We hope you enjoy it!

Thankyou so much to all the dancers, filmers, and editors who helped us make the accompanying music videos for some of these songs. Infinite thank you's to Aaron Corbett, without whom this album would have fallen apart. Thank you to our friends and family who encourage us to continue making music we think is awesome.
